NAB Show 2024: AWS Media Supply Chain demonstration

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Media Supply Chain presentation at the NAB Show 2024, April 14–17, will include FLOMENCO, the creator of the no-code integration and automation solution, “WorkFlo,” for the media and entertainment sector.

Media content creation, management, and distribution are the goals of Flomenco, an automation solution for media workflows. It gives customers a software platform to integrate systems, create and automate media workflows, and use dashboards to evaluate data. The tool offers a no-code solution to improve operational efficiency and information visibility, and it is targeted at content creators, studios, distributors, and media supply chain operators.

The challenges faced by Flomenco and AWS clients include a rise in content demand, resource constraints, and the increasing intricacy of a cloud-based ecosystem that comprises numerous software suppliers and AWS Services to support their media supply chains.

Customers can create multi-system automated workflows in minutes with Flomenco’s no-code visual canvas and pre-built media nodes, enabling individuals within the organization to effect change, scale output, and deliver business agility that would typically take months to achieve through programming teams.

Weeks of planning and development are typically required to deploy a scalable and performant AWS-based media workflow demonstration that highlights data flow between AWS Independent Software Vendor partners. After working with Flomenco for a week, AWS was able to develop a workflow solution for the demo that was suitable for production. Because the Flomenco platform is fully built on AWS, its users can benefit from the security, dependability, performance efficiency, and scalability of AWS through the use of Amazon EventBridge, Amazon Simple Queue Service, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Elastic Container Service.

The Fabric, Tenovos, Overcast HQ, Iconik, Rightsline, and Ateliere systems are all connected in the Flomenco-powered NAB demo to demonstrate how metadata synchronization works across a distribution pipeline.

Ryan McKeague, CEO of Florianco, said, “We are excited to be working with AWS and our partners to demonstrate the value of workflow automation running in AWS for media customers.” “Our plan to provide a no-code media supply chain transformation product complements AWS’s dedication to making media customers’ workloads simpler and more efficient. We’re excited to keep collaborating closely with AWS to provide quick and adaptable media workflow solutions.”
